The International Storytelling School was founded in 2010 by Brother Wolf to further the use and success of storytelling as an art form. The school is founded on these basic principles:
- All human beings have the ability to tell stories – whether privately or publicly.
- While storytelling is inherent in our biology, storytellers require feedback from active, supportive listeners to grow as tellers.
- With proper facilitation, a group of people can know and experience more then an individual. By applying this group knowledge to our individual ability, we as a community of people can raise the bar for storytelling world-wide.
- When the student is committed, a master storyteller can have great impact in speeding up this process of learning the art of storytelling.
